so my high school semi formal is coming up in a couple weeks and i really need a dress! im in grade 11. i was just wondering what color dress would look good on me? im 5'7", 115llb. i have long platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. kinda tanned but not really anymore lol. All l i know right now is that i want a short dress (above the knee). what color would look best on me. i dont want black. i was thinking maybe blue, red or gold. but im not sure. my boyfriend thinks red would look good...but im not sure. ...and if you have any makeup tips (for eyeshadow) that would be appreciated! thanks alot! :)

blue would bring out your eyes...no gold it would be too much with your hair....red would look pretty good as well....for makeup tips soft colors...if your get a blue dress go with a soft gold and red go with a soft pink

Anything platinum blue and silver - eye shadow - just use a light and dark silver- dark silver to out line the upper eyelid and light on the upper lid before the crease and blend!

If you're 5'7 and 115 lb, you must be a stick. Gain some weight for one. Probably a pale pastel color like baby blue or lavender would look good. Even yellow. Other colors would cheapen your looks (especially platinum colors)

I am also a blonde with blue eyes. I know if you wear a blue dress it will accent your eyes and make you look really pretty. If you do wear blue it is cute for your dress not to be really long and if you put silver jewelry with it. Hope I helped!

A hot color right now is royal blue. It would be a great choice because most people will go for the blacks and reds to play it safe. As for eye makeup, go with a smokey eye, something multi dimensional on lower such as a shimmery charcoal. Make sure if it is a loose powder shadow to wet your brush paint on and let dry to have it last longer than putting it on dry. Eye lids and below brows- go for a pale pink or yellow and maybe dust some shimmer in gold only on lid area. Play around a week before. Fake individual eyelashes would look great forr added drama to the eyes. Medium length is perfect- but buy the glue for strip lashes in the tube instead of glue for individual which can ruin your lashes. They will last a couple days. Just practice putting those on too. Buy a couple packs. Black or metallic sandals will look great! Have a great time!

use brown eyeshadows with maybe some blues but then line your eyes with a brown eyeliner, then go over it with a blue eyeliner. It will make your blue eyes stand out even more.
