Red hair to Blonde for the night?

I'm going on a Barbie night next saturday and wanted to have blonde hair for the night but dont really want to buy a wig. I've got light coppery coloured hair and just wanted a colour that will wash out...will this work?

thanks

Sorry Sarah. It will have to be a wig. You can go from blonde to red temporarily, but not the reverse. Going to blonde involves actually stripping the pigment out of the hair, whereas the reverse just adds a covering tint. Once you strip the pigment, it has to grow back out.

No, they don't make temporary blonde dye.

Unfortunately you cannot lighten hair with wash out color...you can only darken or brighten what is already there. You would have to use a permanent color, or possibly bleach.

There are some colour hair spray's you can buy out there.

Hope this helps.

you can't go lighter temporarliy...but if your hair is as light as you want it already..you could try an ashy blonde on it. it'll wash out eventually but you might hate it. what about clip in extensions, to give yourself blonde highlights...try extensions.com

you cannot lighten hair with a temp color. and i would not suggest dying it for one night. they do however make white spray for the hair. its more like a colored hair spray, so it does have hold,...but this is your only option for wash out color. you can find this at your local halloween store, or costume store.

It will not work.
