well, i've been a dark blonde all my life... i would like to try a shade of medium brown. i am wondering if there are any risks to doing this at home. i know that my sister tried to dye her brown hair blonde, and it came out orange. would this be too drastic of a color change to try at home? i tried dying it a shade of light brown a couple months ago, but it seems to be worn out for the most part.

no i don't know of any... its just a lot harder to go lighter then darker and that is were the color gets messed up if ur just gonna dye ur hair a darker brown i would spend 5 dollars instead of 50 and do it urself

They are semi-permanent and aren't that hard on your hair. If you have dark blonde hair, try Light Neutral Brown. Do not get any colors with "ash" in the name. Sometimes that can turn blonde hair green if not careful. The light brown color will be darker than you expect at first, but it will fade within a few washes. It will also make your hair super shiney!
