How can I get platinum/white" blonde hair without damaging it?

I have hair that is naturally medium blonde that i get highlighted. the problem is highlights fade/grow out tooo fast and i end up being too dark again. I want to get hair that is a light, white-tinted blonde(girls next door) and NOT brassy and greenish yellow. I have bleached my hair once before with one of the garnier kits and it came out an awful vibrant yellow collor. How can I get what i want without damaging my hair and it being too costly??

You need to get a color pulse hair dye from loreal, then you can get another product that will lighten your color more, making it bleach blonde. It's called Loreal Natural Match,It's really good,If you want a bleach blonde kind of color you should use this one because it doesn't contain ammonia and it's permanent..don't try to bleach it because it can ruin your scalp and hair...trust me,most people are starting not to use it....

hope this helps

go to a reputable salon and get it done by a professional who guarantees his/her work. thats the only safe way to go, and if they mess it up, you wont have to pay for it at least!

no matter what, when you are coloring your hair it will come out with a little bit of damage. The best way to get as little damage as possible is to spend the big bucks with a professional.

it's hard to get that platnium blonde hair without going to a salon, usually the long's drug's type kits don't result in platnium hair. check around your local salons for a good price!

Just let a professional do it.

Only a hairdresser could do this, it WILL damage your hair, and the roots will be far more noticeable.

It sounds like you have a lot of yellow pigment in your hair, which is really hard to bleach out.

One thing you could try to lessen yellow tones is a shampoo with mauve/violet tones, Lush and Aveda both do these, but they will NOT lighten your hair.

You could always buy a really good wig? Or get a weave?

Well i think you should reconsider becuase its going to be the same thing as highlighting your hair but its going to be all over. But if you really want you can go to the salon and get it done with the right color and then learn how to condition and moisturize your hair so that it wont be so damaging. If you want tips on how to take good care of your hair so it doesnt damage you can get back at me. I get my hair chemically straightened so i know alot about treating my hair so it wont damage because the chemicals I use are very harsh.

Yes, you can. See I have had my hair bleached MANY times at "professional" salons but they always seem to ruin it before it gets really light . I got tired so I started trying to make it white myself. I used Garnier Fructis Blonding Kit (it has a dude on the box). It got really light (my hair was black) and surprisingly, it didn't fry (it got too white so i dyed it pink lol). If you have many colors on your hair, you might want to use a toner after you bleach it.

say you dont want yellow tones, purple is directly across, therefore use a purple toner.

it worked for me, so i know it will work for you. good luck!

You can't. Any chemical process will damage your hair. The peroxide levels used to achieve "platinum" status are very high. Make sure you find a professional if you decide to do it!

When i wanted to go from brown back to blonde on a tight budget, i called round all the local salons and asked if they needed models. A trainee will do your hair with a fully qualified colour technician watching over all the time and it usually costs about 鎷?5 for half a head of foils.

Good luck!
